Dear Peggy,

I remember Vic well from our silver sneakers class. He was a dear man, even as that dreadful disease was taking him from you. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers now and during the hard days to come.

Vic looks just the same as I remember him from the halls and stairways of the stud pub building in Ann Arbor and Mason Hall where we shared so many j-classes. He was blessed to find a true soulmate in Peggy and to raise such an amazing family. With happiness for the legacy he left behInd and sadness for the void he leaves. — Anne Marie Ellsworth Sylvester, St. Martin High School, Class of 1963, and the University of Michigan, class of 1967.

I have become acquainted with Vic and Peggy through friendship at St. Mary of the Hills parish. The loving bond that Vic and Peggy shared will continue even without Vic’s physical presence. I have been blessed to have met them.

When I started at Jaffe 28 plus years ago I worked as Vic’s assistant for many years. I had just moved from Florida and while I had considerable Florida experience, I did not in Michigan and Vic helped me through those initial years. Forever grateful and you will be missed. Prayers and thoughts to the family. God Bless.
